Intelligence in the 21st Century

Logan Gilbert and Josh Goldfarb, 21st Century Technologies

Logan Gilbert, Vice President Business Development and Technology

Mr. Gilbert leads the vision and strategy of software engineering processes and best practices by providing strategic planning leadership based on extensive knowledge of industry best practices and trends, development models and standards, and emerging technologies.
Blending his extensive technical knowledge with strong outreach skills, Mr.
Gilbert also focuses on business development opportunities directed towards transitioning 21CT's promising research efforts and technologies. With a strategic view of technologies developed by 21CT, he leads activities in matching mature, transition-ready technologies with operational opportunities.

Mr. Gilbert has served as Principal Investigator (PI) for several research and development (R&D) efforts as well as leading efforts to transition 21CT’s R&D into operational solutions.  Currently, Mr. Gilbert is the lead for two Air Force cyber security efforts: “G-NET II” and “LYNXeon for Cyber Network Operations Data Base.”  Both apply 21CT’s third-generation intelligence analytics platform, LYNXeon, to difficult cyber security problems faced by the Air Force Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance Agency’s (AFISRA) 35th Intelligence Squadron (Cyber Analysis
Squadron) at Lackland AFB. Mr. Gilbert holds a patent for the research supporting the G-NET II effort.

Prior to his contributions to 21CT, Mr. Gilbert spent several years working as one of the core designers and developers of service based architectures for several companies. His work spanned a broad range of technologies including network design and analysis, distributed systems architect and database administration. He received his B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin.

Josh Goldfarb, Director, Cyber Analysis Solutions

As Director, Cyber Analysis Solutions for 21st Century Technologies, Josh Goldfarb ensures that all customers receive the highest quality services based on his approach to information security. This approach has been developed and honed through many years of experience analyzing and defending some of the largest, most sensitive, and critical enterprise networks in the government and military. Before founding NetflowData LLC, which was acquired by 21st Century Technologies, Josh served as the Chief of Analysis for the United States Computer Emergency Readiness Team (US-CERT), where he built from the ground up and subsequently ran the network, media, and malware analysis/forensics capabilities for US-CERT.
